To be continued...Thing #24

  • What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey?
I liked the idea of having an online calender, and it definately something I plan to keep using. Keeping up with college life is just too complicated for pencil and paper.
  • How has this program affected your lifelong learning goals?
It has shown me that technology is going to continue to change and the I need to continue  keeping up with it. My students will know what is going on, so I should too.

  • Were there any take-a-ways or unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?
I feel like I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. I began the program thinking that it was just busy work. However, by the time I ended the program I had had lots of fun. Especially with designing the video.
  • What could we do differently to improve upon this program’s format or concept?
I think that it could be more integrated with the course work. Sometimes I felt like I was taking two classes and not just one.
  • How will what you have learned influence your practice as a teacher?
It has shown mean that there are many tools out there that I can use to enhance my teaching techniques.
  • How do you plan to keep up with new developments in web 2.0? Recommend a way that you have found to be useful
I think I will try to continue to blog and keep up with my RSS feeders.

As far as a resolution for my blog...I think I will try to blog once a week, along with trying to keep up with the other blogs that I follow.
